There are 5 major natural lakes in salt rang other than so Manny dams. The largest lake is uchali, second largest is khabeki third largest is namal fourth largest is kalar Kahar and the last one is 


Namal lake
Namal Lake is Located in District Mianwali Near Village Rikhi, From Mianwali City it is About 32 km away. The Surface area of Lake is about 5.5km.
There are the mountains on Western and southern side. Namal lake hosting the thousands of Migratory Siberian Birds in winter season.
Namal lake is full with natural and Mountains Beauty and it's the best point for those who prefer calmness and Fell the Nature

Khabiki Lake
It's a saltwater Lake near Khabeki village Which is a big village and union council too.5th in number population wise in soon valley , Lake covers about 2.5 km area
TDCP has established a visiting resort at the bank of khabeki lake along with two guest rooms a walking track boating biking can be enjoyed by the children's visiting khabeki lake.
Self-cooking is the best option for tourists but food can be purchased from TDCP  hotel
For better view of the whole area a thirty feet Bird's Watching tower is placed as well fishing and hunting of ducks or any other kind of birds is prohibited., cycles for children are available on rent basis.

Uchali lake
Uchali Lake is situated to the South-West of the Soon Valley. It is the largest landscape lake of the salt range.  The West of Uchali Lake occupies the highest sakesar peak of the Salt Range and it is 5010 feet above the sea level.
This lake is a big habitat of the Siberian birds and thousands of other birds land there every year.  The prominent birds are avocet and filimangor.
The lake is 88 kilometers away from Kalarkahar Motorway Interchange.


Jahlar lake
Jahler Lake is the smallest lake in the soon valley but is distinct in its beauty. 
The cup-shaped lake, near the village Jahler. It is 18 kilometers away from Noushera Soon Valley. It has not been developed as a tourist's spot but its natural beauty and tranquility exceeds all other lakes of the valley.

Kalarkahar lake
Kallar Kahar Lake is that the most vital reason for Kallar Kahar to be known among tourists. it’s a salt water lake. located at AN altitude of 1500-FT on top of water level the lake is cover a section of 8 kilometers. the maximum depth of lake is 4-5 feet. individuals get pleasure from pedal boating and motor boating.
 The known Mughal emperor Zahir-ud-Din babar encamped in Kallar Kahar along with his armies, once he was walking from Kabul to attack on Old Delhi along with his armies. throughout his stay, a throne was designed for him by cutting a giant rock, wherever he addressed his army. Later the throne was named Takht-e-Babri. It still exists in Kallar Kahar and dealing as a preferred traveller attraction.
